Driving traffic to www.AH.nl with lottery tickets

Supermarket Albert Heijn (www.ah.nl) is apologizing to it's webshop customers because the site can't handle the traffic being generated by "lottery tickets" handed out in it's bricks stores. To see if you are a winner you have to visit the website. On top of that they are still broadcasting TV ads driving customers to the site.

It is interesting that the site is being used as a tool to generate more customer loyalty for the bricks stores. The storemanager featured on the website says:
"If you want to taste the coffee you have to visit the store."

In advertisements Albert Heijn is apologizing to webshoppers (who used to shop via Albert.nl) who have noticed a slowdown in the site.
